Kol Ami's response to covid-19

At Kol Ami, one of our core values is safety and wellness - for our congregants and for our employees. As of now, we have decided to cancel all in-person services and meetings. All services will take place on Zoom and will be streamed live on our Facebook page and the Kol Ami Website.

As for the High Holy Days, the main services will take place online. However, services like Tashlich will take place outdoors, and will require proper social distancing.

  • Please stay home if you are sick or might have been exposed.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water regularly.
  • Avoid shaking hands and touching others in public spaces. We will temporarily discontinue the Kol Ami practice of holding hands for Hamotzi.
  • Try to avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. When coughing or sneezing: cover mouth/nose with your arm to reduce the spread of germs.
  • Consider avoiding kissing Torah scrolls, public mezzuzot, etc.
