Counting the Omer: Numbers Aren’t Just For Accountants
Saturday, April 7, 2018 • 22 Nisan 5778
9:00 AM - 10:00 AMchapelCome join Dr. Ira Schweitzer as we explore the meaning of the forty-nine days between Pesach and Shavuot. Just as we count the days when we expect a friend to visit, so too do we count the days from our festival of freedom to our holiday of receiving the Torah at Sinai. We will explore the meaning of the counting of the Omer and examine some of the texts. This talk will take place during Torah Study, and breakfast will be served.
