Frequently ASKED QUESTiONS

What are the Service Locations? Is there parking available?

Most in-person services will be held at The Bialik Hebrew Day School located at 180 Ilan Ramon Blvd (just west of Bathurst). See the service schedule above for the location of each service. We will also stream all services on Zoom for those who prefer to join us online.

The Rosh Hashanah Day 2 Nature program will take place at Sugarbush Heritage Park, located at 91 Thornhill Woods Dr. Parking is available. Meeting will be in the parking lot.

Where can I find the Service Schedule?

The schedule for services can be found here.

What prayer book is being used?

Our machzor is Mishkan HaNefesh, the prayerbook we have been using for the last several years.

We will not be streaming the machzor this year, so you will need to have your own copy, whether you're attending in person or on Zoom.

The two-volume set is available online from ISRAEL'S or the CCAR Press. Be sure to order yours soon - don't wait until it's too late! Israel's is offering a 10% discount to Kol Ami members.

SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL HIGH HOLY DAYS APPEAL

It is a High Holy Days tradition at Kol Ami to make donations in support of our school and youth programs or to a worthy charity.

This year, we are proud to support:

Kol Ami Hebrew School

Birkat Shalom (our sister congregation in Israel) - emergency campaign underway to raise funds as their building has structural damage from ground shifting,  they need to upgrade the alarm system and install security cameras inside and out.

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies - working to build a more inclusive & respectful Canada by sharing the lessons of the Holocaust, advocating for human rights & combating both antisemitism & hate in all its forms.

Please consider making a gift to any or all of these worthy causes.

SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE

Please help support the High Holy Days Food Drive by bringing non-perishable, kosher and non-kosher food items to any of our upcoming in-person events, Saturday morning services, or High Holy Days services. Your support is greatly appreciated!
