Kol Ami is a true community of learners. As a congregation, we are dedicated to providing ongoing opportunities for Jewish learning for all, regardless of previous knowledge.
Highlights Include:
- Our weekly Shabbat morning Torah Study, with Rabbi Micah Streiffer, lay leaders, and guest teachers.
- Weekly Talmud Study with Rabbi Jesse Paikin - serious text study with no prior knowledge required.
- Our annual Scholar in Residence Weekend, which brings top scholars from all over the continent to teach our congregation.
- Regular classes and series taught by Rabbi Streiffer and guest teachers. Topics span a wide range, including Jewish philosophy, Indigenous issues, the State of Israel, virtual tours of Jewish sites, and more.
- Our Book Club gets together for interesting discussions and delicious refreshments.
- Adult B'nai Mitzvah: an extraordinary community of learners who commit to the process of exploring Judaism, learning Hebrew, and becoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah together as adults.
