Join us for a powerful and interactive 90-minute presentation by Shakespearience Performing Arts exploring the role of the arts in confronting antisemitism. Using The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare as a starting point, professional actors will guide participants through performance, audience participation, and facilitated discussion examining whether the play’s portrayal of Jewish identity remains relevant — or problematic — today.
This engaging program invites thoughtful dialogue on ethics, representation, and the role of the arts in shaping societal values.
Shakespearience is a long-standing educational arts organization that has reached over 100,000 students across 2,000+ schools worldwide, using Shakespeare to spark meaningful conversations about contemporary issues including antisemitism, racism, and social justice.
This program is supported by our fundraising at Bingo World and Gaming
